We know from customer feedback that many are dissatisfied with the MaxView system – it is too slow and too cumbersome to use. This is only due to the router used, which is no longer up to date, but not to the roof antenna, which can continue to be used.
By replacing the technically outdated Maxview Roam router with the CONNEXX-inet WorldTraveller mini V.2 LTE router of category Cat.12, you can solve several problems at once:
- Massive speed boost: Thanks to the LTE category Cat.12, the router can fully exploit the possibilities of modern mobile networks when operating with a SIM card. By bundling up to three mobile frequencies and using modern modulation methods, the router can still provide sufficient speed for streaming and TV even in networks with higher traffic.
- Better Wi-Fi catching: With two Wi-Fi antennas and support for Captive Portal Hotspots, it is possible to use an external Wi-Fi hotspot at a higher speed – even if the hotspot has a splash page.
Changing the router is easy: You disconnect the antenna cables from the old router and disconnect the power supply. Then connect the power supply to the power supply of the CONNEXX-inet WorldTraveller mini V.2 router and screw the antenna cables to the antenna connections of the new router. You can easily set up the router using any Wi-Fi-enabled device – tablet, mobile phone, notebook – anything is possible.
If you wish, we can set up the router for you, including a SIM card.
