CONNEXX-inet CampingTV HighSpeed-A upgrade kit for Maxview Roam systems - Cat.11, optimised for streaming
We know from customer feedback that many are dissatisfied with the MaxView system – too slow, too cumbersome to use. This is only due to the router used, which is no longer up to date, but not to the roof antenna, which can continue to be used.
By replacing the technically outdated Maxview Roam router with the modern Cat.11 CONNEXX-inet CampingTV HighSpeed V.3 LTE router, you will experience a significant speed boost, especially for streaming and TV over the internet. The Cat.11 router CONNEXX-inet CampingTV HighSpeed V.3 LTE router is able to bundle up to 3 LTE frequencies and use modern modulation methods, thus theoretically achieving up to 600 Mbps. The Wi-Fi antennas integrated into the CONNEXX-inet CampingTV HighSpeed V.3 LTE router provide Wi-Fi at 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies at up to 1200 Mbps – no comparison to the 150 Mbps possible with Maxview via Wi-Fi.
However, it is not possible with this router to capture external WLANs and to broadcast them in the vehicle.
In addition, two LAN sockets (Gigabit) are integrated.
Replacing the router is very easy: you disconnect the antenna cables from the old router and disconnect the power supply. Then connect the power supply to the power supply unit of the CONNEXX-inet CampingTV HighSpeed V.3, screw the antenna cables to the supplied antenna adapters and plug them into the antenna connections of the new router. You can easily set it up using any WLAN-enabled device.
If you wish, we can set up the router for you before delivery, including a SIM card.
ATTENTION - a smaller SIM card size is required than in the Maxview roam!
