ATTENTION: This system can only work with a SIM card from the country in which you are currently located. It is ideal if you are only staying in your home country (or using a fixed caravan/mobile home) or if you buy a SIM card locally in the respective destination country.
We are also happy to offer you this system with a powerful directional antenna for stationary use.
Sometimes you really need the security of always having enough speed at work, even if many others also want to satisfy their hunger for bandwidth at the same time.
You can do this by taking the best that is currently on the market and adding the afterburner through skilful modification.
The centrepiece of this system is a Cat.19 router, which only has two of its four internal antennas for LTE on the outside. This considerably limits the possibilities of this router. We have therefore routed all four antennas to the outside.
At its side is the most powerful roof antenna currently on the market, nicknamed ‘Big White’, with a 3 metre cable set. At just over 8 cm high, the Big White is not quite as flat as the usual roof antennas, but delivers the highest gain of all available roof antennas. Four antennas are installed in the housing, covering all LTE and 5G frequencies in use worldwide. If you want to switch to 5G at a later date, only the router needs to be replaced - the antenna can stay.
Our installation partners will be happy to install the system for you.
Attention - no roaming capability means that the router only works with a SIM card from the country in which you are currently located.
About the other options:
- The threaded extensions are available in two lengths - 59 mm and 75 mm.
- The following power supply options are available:
- Power supply unit for 220V
- Car power supply unit with open cable ends, input voltage 9-32V
- Car power supply unit for cigarette lighter sockets, input voltage 12-24V
- Car power supply for DIN socket, input voltage 9-32V. DIN sockets are somewhat smaller and shorter than cigarette lighter sockets.
- If you want to use the campsite's WLAN or broadcast your own WLAN via the roof antenna, you must also purchase the WLAN repeater option. You will then receive the selected roof antenna in a version that also contains WLAN antenna elements and a WLAN repeater with power supply unit. We offer two versions of the WLAN repeater. In the standard version, you receive a WLAN repeater that only supports WLAN on 2.4 GHz and does not support external WLAN with a captive portal. In the Advanced version, you receive a WLAN repeater that supports WLAN on 2.4 + 5 GHz and can also process the WLAN with prefix side (captive portal).
On request, we can shorten the standard 3 m cable to the optimum length for you for an additional charge.
We will be happy to set up the router according to your specifications, including the SIM card (setting up the WLAN name, WLAN password and administrator password according to your wishes, setting up the SIM card), so that all you have to do is switch on the device and get started.
INSTALLATION:
Whether you carry out the installation yourself or leave it to a specialist workshop is ultimately up to you. If you do the installation yourself, please note the following information:
The aerial has a 19 mm diameter threaded tube on the underside through which the cables are fed into the vehicle. This thread is extended with the thread extension so that the aerial can also be fitted in vehicles with thick GRP roofs. You must therefore drill a hole of the appropriate diameter in the roof. The underside of the antenna is self-adhesive. Nevertheless, we recommend applying a ring of sealant around the thread and around the antenna after installation.
Alternatively, you can also order the optional antenna support. It raises the antenna another 5 cm higher. This allows the cables to be routed to a cable feed-through, for example.
You should look for a suitable place for the router where at least the SIM card slot is still easily accessible so that you can replace the SIM card if necessary. The set includes a set of double-sided high-tech hook and loop tape for fixing.
Alternatively, you can also order the optional antenna support. It raises the antenna a further 5 cm higher. This allows the cables to be routed to a cable duct, for example.
You should look for a suitable place for the router where at least the SIM card slot is still easily accessible so that you can replace the SIM card if necessary. The set includes a set of double-sided high-tech hook and loop tape for fixing.
If the system is installed by a specialist workshop, we are unfortunately unable to provide any information on the costs involved. Depending on the workshop and the structure of the vehicle, in our experience these are between 1 and 4 installation hours.
