Not everyone limits their radius of action to Europe – some people also want to take their camper van to Asia, Africa or even across the pond to North or South America. Until now, however, there have been hardly any systems that work worldwide.
For customers who need maximum performance worldwide, we have developed the CONNEXX-inet WorldTraveller MaxSpeed Quadro light. The 4G/LTE router it contains supports all 3G and 4G/LTE networks worldwide as an extremely fast router that supports LTE Advanced Cat.16 (bundling of four LTE frequencies + use of 4 LTE antennas simultaneously (4x4 MIMO) to increase the download rate and also improve network utilisation through better modulation methods) and WLAN on 2.4 + 5 GHz (up to 1200 Mbit/s). In addition, it can capture external WLAN hotspots (even with Captive Portal = splash pages) and broadcast them more strongly in the vehicle. The router is easy to use and configure.

- Shark Premium Quadro - - 5G-capable roof antenna with 4 antenna elements + GPS with 4 x 6 dBi gain + 2 WiFi antenna elements + GPS, especially for vans, can also be used for GFK with a large metal plate under the antenna, can be upgraded with an antenna for DAB+ and FM
Installation: To mount the antenna, a hole of 19-25 mm must be drilled in the roof. The underside of the antenna is self-adhesive, but we still recommend applying a ring of sealant around the thread and also around the outside of the antenna after mounting.
A thread extension of the length of your choice is included so that the antenna can also be securely fixed to GRP roofs. The antenna is fixed to the roof with the thread.
Notes:
- Antenna bracket: An antenna bracket is an angled metal plate that is necessary if you want to route the antenna cables through the roof at a different point than under the antenna. This requires a cable gland that is able to guide 7 cables into the interior of the vehicle. We do not supply this.
- eSIM option – We offer an eSIM functionality for the router via a programmable SIM card. This allows an eSIM card to be purchased online and programmed onto the programmable SIM card without having to purchase a physical SIM card. An Android smartphone is required for programming. Simple Android smartphones are available from many retailers for as little as 70 euros.
- Thread extension: At the bottom of the antenna is a threaded pipe of 15 mm in length, from which the cables come out. In order to be able to counter the antenna from below, we recommend buying a thread extension. This must be at least 15 mm longer than the roof is thick. The thread extensions are available in two lengths - 59 mm and 75 mm.
- Shorten the cable to the desired length: the antenna cable set comes standard with 3-metre-long cables. We will be happy to shorten these cables to the desired length for you.
- Configure the router: We set up the WLAN name, WLAN password and administrator password here and, if desired, configure the SIM card.
- Power supply: A 220V power adapter is included. In addition, you can purchase a power adapter from us that works with the on-board voltage: for a cigarette lighter socket (12-24V), for a DIN plug socket (9-35V), with open cable ends (9-35V)
- Support: The price of the router already includes gold support for 6 months. This means: support by email, WhatsApp and phone, as well as remote maintenance by us as soon as the update is available. Remote maintenance means that we can access the router via an existing internet connection and make settings according to your requirements. Gold support for 12 months: the same as gold support for 6 months, but for a full year.
- USB LAN adapter: With this adapter, you can access the router via a LAN cable from your smartphone, tablet or notebook if, for example, access via WLAN is not working (anymore). It is a good way to quickly fix errors yourself.
- Setting up a VPN: If you want to work abroad with a local SIM card or with the WLAN from the campsite, you cannot access the media libraries of German broadcasters because of geoblocking. This can be avoided with a VPN, because it creates an encrypted tunnel to a German server. It also prevents others from reading your own data. To set up the VPN, you need an account with the provider of your choice.
- Angled adapter set: With angled adapters, you can install the router more compactly because you can route the antenna cables vertically up or to the side directly on the router.
