You already have a Netgear router - M1, M2, M5 or M6 pro - and would like to make optimum use of it in your motorhome, caravan or boat?
Here you will find the ideal installation kit.
At the heart of the installation kit is a powerful roof antenna that is optimised for your vehicle. You can find an overview of all our roof antennas HERE
For motorhomes with GRP bodies and caravans, we recommend the LTE/5G Round2, LTE/5G Round4 and LTE/5H Round4H roof antennas.
The Shark Premium is the ideal model for panel vans. This antenna can also be made fit for radio reception (FM + DAB+) with our radio antenna upgrade kit
We have the MARINER aerial in our programme for boats.
If you do not want to permanently mount the antenna, we have various options:
for panel vans, use the Shark Eco-M with magnetic base - this antenna requires the metal roof of the panel van as a base
For caravans and motorhomes with GRP superstructures, you can either use the (relatively low-performance) PUCK-SF with suction base. Alternatively, we recommend one of the above-mentioned roof antennas in conjunction with the antenna support with suction base (CLICK!)
Please note HERE the information on the availability of your desired antenna
To prevent the Netgear router from flying around somewhere in the vehicle, the set includes a cradle - a holder with built-in antenna connections. Simply insert the Netgear router into the cradle and it will be in contact with the roof antenna and can show what it can do.
The cradle and roof antenna are connected with a very low-loss antenna cable with a length of 3 metres, which ensures that almost the entire antenna gain reaches the Netgear router. We are happy to shorten the antenna cable to the length you require. Longer lengths are also available on request.
You can also choose a suitable power supply unit for the Netgear router to supply the router with power
Power supply unit for 220V
Car power supply with open cable ends, input voltage 9-32V
Car power supply for cigarette lighter sockets, input voltage 12-24V
Car power supply for DIN socket, input voltage 9-32V. DIN sockets are somewhat smaller and shorter than cigarette lighter sockets.
If you want to use the campsite's WLAN or broadcast your own WLAN via the roof antenna, you must also purchase the WLAN repeater option. You will then receive the selected roof antenna in a version that also contains WLAN antenna elements and a WLAN repeater with power supply unit. We offer two versions of the WLAN repeater. In the Standard version, you receive a WLAN repeater that only supports WLAN on 2.4 GHz and does not support external WLAN with a captive portal. The Advanced+ version is a WLAN repeater that supports WLAN on 2.4 + 5 GHz, can deliver up to 1300 MBit/s and can also process the WLAN with prefix side (captive portal).
PLEASE BE SURE TO SELECT WHICH NETGEAR ROUTER YOU HAVE SO THAT YOU GET THE RIGHT CRADLE FOR YOUR INSTALLATION KIT!
