This is our new flagship - the CONNEXX-inet Business 5G Quadro DualSIM - a powerful 5G router with two SIM card slots for two NANO SIM cards. This router can not only establish an Internet connection via reception of the 3G, 4G + 5G mobile phone technologies with 4 antenna elements of our powerful roof antennas, but also via external WLAN hotspots. It not only supports the currently widespread 5G standard 5G-NSA, where you need to have reception of 4G and 5G at the same time for 5G to work (a kind of 5G light), but also the upcoming 5G SA standard, which works without 4G and which Vodafone is already using on a trial basis at some locations. The router is comparatively easy to configure - instructions describing the relevant options are included with the system. Inside the vehicle, the router emits the Internet signal via fast WLAN on 2.4 + 5 GHz. There are also 4 Gigabit LAN connections.
The router is supported by highly efficient, powerful roof antennas from renowned manufacturers, which capture the mobile phone signal and transmit it to the router via very low-loss cables.
The router does not require a power supply unit, but can be connected directly to all 12V and 24V on-board power supplies.
NOTE: If you want to watch TV from your own country via the Internet when abroad, this is often blocked by the broadcasters if you use the SIM card of another country or work from the campsite's WLAN. This is called GEOBLOCKING. This geoblocking can be circumvented by installing a VPN on the router (Virtual Private Network). This VPN establishes an encrypted data tunnel through which all data flows via the server of the respective provider, which is located in Germany, for example. As a result, the TV providers only see the address of the server and release the programmes. For this service, the providers charge between 12 euros when booking for just one month and 5 euros/month for annual contracts.
