We offer you a solution for using eSIMs on any mobile router.
An eSIM is normally a SIM chip that is permanently installed in the device and can be programmed. To programme this chip, you can buy a virtual SIM card on the Internet, which you then receive as a QR code by e-mail. The QR code is then scanned with a smartphone using an app and the chip is programmed with the eSIM data.
For this purpose, such a chip was transplanted onto a conventional SIM card. This SIM card can therefore be programmed in almost any Android mobile phone (from Android version 9). After programming, this programmable SIM card behaves in the router like a conventional SIM card with the data of the eSIM that you have purchased. Please note that you must always use the same Android smartphone to write the eSIM profiles to the eSIM card.
NOTE for Apple users: unfortunately, the iPhone does not provide the necessary interface for programming. If you want to use this product, you must buy a simple Android mobile phone (new or used). Simple new smartphones that are suitable for this are available from many retailers from around 50 euros (e.g. from ZTE)
This solution can NOT be used for providers who want to describe the eSIM via their own app. It only works with eSIMs that you receive via a QR code (e.g. by email, in paper form, etc.)
NOTE: If you operate a CONNEXX-inet system, please enter your invoice number in the shopping basket. You will then receive a discount of 10 euros in the form of a cashback.
NOTE2: The eSIM card can only be returned in unopened packaging!
